don’t move a muscle

on February 10, 2011

It was a boisterous day today.

Maybe it was the little hint of spring in the air.

Maybe it was the visit by the kindergarten teacher to observe.

Maybe it was our fresh batch of purple play dough….or the round of visits to the traveling dentists….or the excitement of “hundred’s” day happening in the primary classrooms around us.

It all added up to make an electrically charged day.

At 11:45 I was scooping up the last few cups of crayons before lunch.  I realized it was unusually quiet and took a quick peek around the room.  Then I hurried over to Maestra and said,  “Don’t move a muscle, don’t say a thing.  Look around!  Isn’t it amazing?”

She said, “Quick, take some pictures!

Absolutely sublime student engagement, wouldn’t you say?
